Cant get an DHCP address

Running Win2000SP2 and getting an error when trying to
renew/get an IP-address via DHCP. saying not a valid
socket. DHCP server working ok on the other computer.
Tryed to reinstall WIN2000 and changed NIC. Deleted
TCP/IP protocol and added it again.
Still the same problem.
Anyone seen a problem like this????

What happens you do *ipconfig /renew*.
