Cannot communicate with my DHCP server

I am having a problem with my Windows 2000 Pro machine getting an IP address
fromthe DHCP server. I cannot ping the DHCP server or any clients. I have
changed NIC cards and both cables. It was working fine until about a week
ago.

If I assign a static address, I can ping the DHCP server as long as Netbios
over TCP/IP is turned on.

It is only happening on one machine. The other 20 are working fine.

Is there any way to solve the problem other than a reinstall of the OS?
