Cannot assign a static IP- it reverts to DHCP after a reboot

Hello, I have a Windows 2000 server and I recently did a one-to-one
replacement using the HP Proliant Server Migration utility (great tool by the
way). Everything works fine on the "new" server, except I cannot statically
assign an IP address to both Nics. I need the static IPs for DHCP to work
properly.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Large75,

Which ip's would you assign to the ports and why did you use two NIC's? Are
they teamed? Explain a littlebit more, please.

Best regards

The server has 2 NICs because it is servicing Dhcp on 2 different subnets. (I
realize I could use 1 NIC to do this, but our router has to be setup to pass
it through, and I don't know to set that up).

The NICs are not teamed. I was just trying to set them up with internal
addresses....192.168.x.x. It's a fairly basic setup, but for some reason it
does not keep.

Thanks,
Allen
