Cannot open spreadsheets from hyperlinks or explorer

I cannot open spreadsheets from hyperlinks inside of
Outlook or using Windows Explorer. I can open the same
files if I save them to my hard drive and then from Excel
open the file.

Got any ideas?

So what was the problem/solution ???
I'm having a similar problem but only with spreadsheets
that contain macros.
