Cannot open files in Excel 2007

When trying to open files in Excel 2007 we get an error message that the
file may be infected and, as such, the antivirus program is not allowing the
file be opened. The file has been scanned and is fine. Is there a fix for
this problem?

Hello DGB,

I don't have a subject line for you, but the solution is simply to disable
the Norton AntiVirus plug-in for Microsoft Office. You do this from within
Norton AntiVirus by selecting the options button and navigating to the
miscellaneous options.
