Cannot logon to Windows XP

Hi,
I'm having a problem while logging on to Winwows XP, it immediately logs off
after I enter my password on the logon screen. That might be a problem about
the netlogon service, the machine cannot get IP address so I cannot reach
through network. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Akin
