Can not delete a domain controller

Can you please help I am trying to delete to delete a
domain controller from a domain every time I try to delete
it gives an error the DSA Object can not be deleted. I
tried the following:

1) Deleting it from Active Directory Sites and Servies.
2) Demoting it with DCPROMO.
3) Using Adsiedit.msc to delete the entries in Lost and
Found/ the NTDS settings.

Scott,

So basically you want to remove a DC after a failed
demotion. Look up this Tech Doc.. 216498

You need to use NTDSUTIL from the CMD prompt to make this
happen.
