Can no longer move files

Clicked on My Computer, highlighted two files. Clicked on Move Files.
Dialog box pops up, but instead of giving me a list of my files so that I can
click on one of them as my destination, there is nothing. No list. The
boxes at the bottom - Create New Folder (doesn't work), Move (doesn't respond
because I haven't selected a destination - because I can't!!!) and Cancel
(works normally).

This all worked fine in a couple of days ago. Where has my file list gone
in the Move Dialog box?

I've restarted the computer twice, no luck. Do I need to uninstall and
reinstall Windows Explorer?

Any help will be appreciated.

I see you've fixed your problem. Just as an aside, don't ever MOVE files---
COPY, PASTE, then DELETE.

While it almost never happens, the StarTrek transporter COULD fail leaving
your atoms scattered to the ether.
