Copy / Move Dialog Box Interruptions

Is there a way to copy / delete / move / etc files without having to play 20
questions with the computer? The issue is as an example: I want to move a
large number of files, the computer starts with “Preparing to moveâ€, then it
wants confirmation that I want to move the files, then sometime during the
move (while I have left the screen) a dialog box comes up and asks me if I
want to move the read-only file… later, another dialog box comes up and asks
me if I want to move the executable file…. And on and on….

The problem is that every time the dialog box comes up, the computer stops
the copy / move process and waits for me to click the box. The files take
long enough to transfer when they are continuously working without the
incessant stops. I really don’t want to have to sit and babysit the
computer while I am doing this.

Is there any way to stop the repeated dialog inputs?
