Moving My Documents Folder

Hi,
I have 3 partitions on my hard drive (C, M & N ).

I tried to move "My Documents" folder from my c drive (where OS is) to
"N:\John\My Documents" on my N drive.

I then tried to restore "My Documents" folder back to C drive per
Microsoft's Article ID 310147.

Now when I try to save a document to "My Documents" folder using the "Save
As" Dialog Box, I have a "John's Documents" in My Computer and a separate "My
Documents" folder further down on the list in the "Save As" dialog box.
If I click on either one of these "John's Documents" shows up in the "Save
As" dialog box and the body of the "Save As" dialog box is empty in both
cases.

If I click on C:\Documents & Settings\John\My Documents, all of the
documents show up in the My Documents Dialog Box.

If I try to save a new document, I have to click on C:\Documents &
Settings\John\My Documents for the new document to go to the correct My
Documents folder.

I have a "John's Documents" in My Computer and a "N:\John\My Documents" on
my N drive that I would like to delete if possible.

Does anyone know how I can do this if it is possible.

Thanks.

One other strange thing happened yesterday. I have an external LG DVD Writer
that is connected to a USB 2.0 port and it is labeled I.
I also have a Western Digital USB 2.0 external drive that has two partitions
labeled fF & G.

Yesterday all these drives had their labels switched; I became G, G became F
& F became I.

Thanks for any help.
