My document folder on D: GONE after reformat an install on C:

I moved my documents by right clicking on the shortcut on desktop an selected
move to d: drive, after a format and reinstall of win xp pro on c: the my
document folder is GONE on d:!!!!!!!!! What happened to my document folder???

Can I assume you mean that you MOVED the My Documents folder? You
weren't very clear.
Did you check to see if the files were actualy moved to D? And that they
were no longer on the C drive?

How precisely did you do that format/reinstall of XP?
How many physical disk drives do you have inside the computer?
I suspect you may have formatted the D drive at the moment.
