Can automate Remote Desktop Connection?

The Remote Desktop Connection application that installs
on the remote machine has an option to store custom
connetion settings as an .rdp file.

Is there a way to automate the execution of this file
through some type of command line switch so that I can
cause my home machine to automatically log onto my office
machine just by clicking a desktop icon (without having
to again click the "Connect" button on the Remote Desktop
Connection application screen)?

Sure... Simply create and save the .rdp file. Navigate to where you saved the file, hopefully with a
creative name like "MyOffice.rdp" and right-click on the file. Select "Send to -> Desktop (create
shortcut)"...

Is that what you mean?
