Bug: MSAS appears in NetMeeting Share Programs List?

After installing MS AntiSpyware, I noticed that a
component of the program incorrectly appears in the
Microsoft NetMeeting "Share Programs" list. The
component, "gcasDtServHolder", appears along with the
MSAS target icon. Presumably, there is no reason anyone
would want to share this component, so it should not
appear in this list.

Has anyone else noticed this bug?

I think you get a first bug award (i.e. this message!) for this one.

My bet is that the program will be substantially restructured for Beta2, and
that alone may eliminate this appearance.

I'd like to ask you to re-check this if you can when beta2 appears--it will
be clearly labelled Beta2. And remind Microsoft (via these groups) about
this one if it is still present.

I have not seen this either, so I attempted to repro. I am not able to repro
this issue as described. Here is the steps I followed - let me know if I am
missing something.

1) Initiate a netmeeting call
2) Select tools -> sharing
3) Look for gcasDtServHolder in the list.

I do not see it in the list.

ahh... Lets try it this way.

1) Launch Antispyware so it is active on the desktop
2) Initiate a netmeeting call
3) Select tools -> sharing
4) Look for gcasDtServHolder in the list.

I don't have gcasDtServHolder but I do have MicrosoftAntiSpyware listed.

If this is the case, I believe this is by design since all I would be doing
is sharing that application to the other user in netmeeting.

Can you reply back with the repro steps which I could use here to file a bug
on seeing gcasDtServHolder?

Hmm - I haven't initiated a call, but when I go to Tools Sharing, I only see
Microsoft Antispyware in the list, and that only when I have the UI for the
program open.

So -- I can't repro this either.------------

Steve Dodson has tried to reproduce this properly, and I've attempted it and
not succeeded either.

Here are a couple of questions:

1) Do you have the alt-tab powertoy loaded on Windows XP?

2) Is it possible that there was a scan result not yet displayed and ok'd at
the time you saw this appearance?
