Netmeeting won't run correctly; Data Execution Prevfention error

I need help getting Netmeeting running on my system.

I have activated Netmeeting on my system running XP Pro with SP2. When I
start Netmeeting the system churns for a while and then I get 2 Data
Execution Prevention error boxes. They both say "To help protect your
computer, Windows has closed this program", with one closing "Windows
Explorer" and the other closing "Run a DLL as an App". Some of my icons
disappear in the system tray. Then when I double-click the Netmeeting
shortcut to start Netmeeting again, the Netmeeting regular program window
appears, but when I tried to connect to another computer with it, I could not
share my desktop.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Netmeeting per these instructions I found
the General Discussion Newsgroup:
---------------------------
Run: Start/Run/conf.exe

Remove: Start/Run/RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove

Reinstall: To reinstall, open the Windows\Inf folder (this is a hidden
folder, so you may need to adjust your Folder Options
to show hidden files and folders. Or you can click Start, Run and enter
%systemroot%\Inf).

Locate the msnetmtg.inf file in the Inf folder. Right click and select
Install. Have your XP CD handy.

Try turning DEP off in Netmeeting, Start>Run...> Help and Support,
enter DEP in the search box for instructions if you need them
