Reinstall of Netmeeting

D

Denver

Netmeeting wasn't working correctly so I uninstalled it
using the following command: RunDll32
advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove

Now when I try to use it, nothing happens except the
netmeeting startup flashes and then goes away...

I did the same thing as Denver, when I called Dell they said the only way to
get netmeeting back was to reinstall XP again. Is there anyother way? I've
had to do this before (previous computer), and my computer was never the
same. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your prompt assistance. I tried what you suggested, creating a
new short cut, when I clicked next a warning message came up "The file
C:\Program Files\NetMeeting\conf.exe cannot be found".
I unistalled it using the following command: RunDll32
advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove. Is
the only way to get NetMeeting back is to reinstall WinXP?

Browse here:C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf

Right click on it, and \choose install, follow the prompts accordingly.
