Blue Screen on startup HELP!!

R

Ryan

After the blue bar fills a little over half way on the
Windows 2000 startup splash screen I get a blue screen
with the following error message:

STOP: 0x0000006B(0xC0000102,0x00000002,0x00000000)
PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

I have 2 hard drives and I tried doing a Recovery with the
Recovery Console on the 2000 disc and it lists the 2000
installation as D: but the install is on the C: drive. I
have no idea what else to do. I have no Emergency
Recovery Disc either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

Try to go into safe mode and remove what ever software you
just loaded on your PC that could have caused this issue.
This could also happen when you install a new device and
the drivers are conflicting with the operating system.
