Blue Screen--Norton Crash

My computer blue screened.

Dell Dimension 5100 - XP with 1.5 gigs RAM - used for home and for 3
grandchildren to use for games and education.

For about a month prior to the BS, I received "failure to write to memeory
for CCAPP.exe" and "CorUpdate.exe", before sutdown. If I did not close the
dialog box, it automatically shutdown.

Last week it started blue screening because of "possible injury to my
machine". For a day or so I could reboot. In about 15 minutes ir would blue
screen again.

Then Norton's died (both icons had red Xs) and I would not bootpast the
windows boot screen..

Here's the bluescreen info:

FIRST REBOOTS 0x000000 F4(0x00000003, 0x89727558, 0x897276cc, 0x805d11F8

Win32k.sys Address BF8f4EA2 base at BF800000, Date stamp fo23f6

A few boot attempts later it read:

S: 0x000000ED (0x89A3DE30, 0xC0000185,0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Then reboot brought:

0x0000003EB

Unmountable boot Volume

Stop: 0x000000ED (0x8A339900, 0xC0000185, 0x00000000, 0x00000000

Thank you,
