Blank screen in Print Shop

This may be off topic but it IS a problem I'm having in XP and *don't*
have in Windows 98 on the same machine.
I just installed a new motherboard a few days ago (Athlon 2400) and I
dual boot Windows 98 and XP. Mostly I use XP.
In Print Shop 15 (Broderbund) I click on one of my existing projects and
in the workspace I come up with a blank screen. If I hit "Print Preview"
then the project shows up just fine. I tried changing my display settings,
hardware acceleration, etc. and nothing helped.
So I uninstalled Print Shop and reinstalled it. No help.
I have PrintMaster Gold (also Broderbund), so I decided to use it to
create what I was working on. I opened one of my existing projects and
*that* came up with a blank screen too. As in Print Shop, I could got to
Print Preview and it showed up just fine.
So in desperation I rebooted into Windows 98, installed Print Shop, and
my projects come up just fine.
I am using the same video adapter I had on the old motherboard.
I have the most recent XP drivers for my video adapter (NVIDIA RIVA TNT2
Model 64) installed.
Does anyone have any ideas on why I have the problem in XP and not in
98?
I am not 100% sure that this problem is related to the new motherboard,
but today was the first time I tried to use Print Shop since I installed
it. It was working fine a week ago.

I can't answer your question as to why your projects display as a blank
screen in PrintShop 15. But I CAN let you know it is definitely not
caused by XP, since I too have PrintShop 15 Deluxe running on XP
Professional, and no function of PrintShop 15 is lacking.

Well, I kept playing with it... removed the adapter altogether (in device
manager), and on reboot it found "standard VGA adapter" and listed it
under "Other Devices" with a question mark in front of it. However,
Print Shop displayed its stuff correctly then. Then out of the blue, XP
"found" my correct adapter again and installed it. But this time it is
working!
I guess I just didn't diddle long enough before I made the post...
