Print Shop 20 problems after new motherboard installed

Last week, my motherboard burned out and took it in to the PC shop I
bought it from to get a new one put in. Ever since, Print Shop 20 as
well as another Broderbund program, American Greetings CreataCard, do
not work. This is the *only* new problem that's been caused by the new
motherboard, everything else works fine.

The problem with the Print Shop 20 and American Greetings is that when
I click on them to open, I get the error "This Executable is
unavailable. Try unlocking it again." I also have Print Shop 15,
however that runs with no problems.

Nothing works, here's what I've tried:
- Reinstalled the programs. I first uninstalled them completely and
also tried deleting the registry values as well as uninstalled Print
Shop 15. The Print Shop 20 disc is an installation disc but came in a
folder mentioning "upgrade" so I'm unsure if 15 is needed or not to
make 20 to work. I've tried reinstalling both after reinstalling 15
and without installing 15 with no success.

- I've tried installing both programs on another computer running XP.
Exact same error.

- I read in this newsgroup a message about this error message before
releating to Print Shop 20 and it mentioned something to do with the
..NET framework. That person got it working again by uninstalling and
reinstalling .NET framework 1.1. I had 1.1 and 2.0 installed, I've
tried uninstalling both and reinstalling 1.1 with no success.

With the problem being the same on another computer, I was wondering if
it had something to do with it being an upgrade CD, but if that's the
case, I installed Print Shop 15, which works fine, then reinstalled 20
and it still doesn't work. Also, I never owned a previous version of
American Greetings and it worked fine until this new motherboard was
installed.

I tried contacting Broderbund themselves and they are absolutely
worthless. They responded with an advertisement for their new version
of Print Shop 21. You can bet on me never buying Print Shop again
after this (and I've been using it since Print Shop 2 in the early
90's) Any suggestions on a similar program that can be used to make
greeting cards/calendars/posters that isn't too complicated? (ie, not
Corel Draw)

Specs :
Windows XP Home Edition with SP 2
..NET 1.1 (although I've tried 2.0 also with no success)
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
512 mb of ram
the new motherboard is an ASRock K7S41/K7S41GX (per the manual, not
100% sure which of the two, if that makes a difference I can find out
though)

Did you, as instructed by Broderbund, "Try unlocking it again." ???

If following Broderbund instructions do not resolve the problem, contact
Broderbund Technical Support for assistance in resolving problems with their
product.

I don't even know how this program could be "locked". I checked any
Windows settings and properties having to with lock/unlock and there is
no such thing.

And as I stated below, I contacted Broderbund with the issues and they
were worthless, telling me to buy their Print Shop 21 for "the low
price of $49.99!" and completely ignored my request for technical
assistance.

Bump doesn't mean/do anything on usenet.

Well, I guess it wouldn't really be considered a bump, but it does get
a repost of the problem that I still have at least, that's all I was
looking for.
