Best printer to refill ink cartridges?

Buying a new printer, I want to be able to refill the cartridges. Currently
using a Canon S520, which has 4 easily refilled tanks.
Any advice from experienced refiller?

The new Canon's have the same tank, ( #8) but with a chip. Easy to refill
but you have to get around the low ink warnings.

If you can afford it, look for the i9900 Canon large format printer. This
is an 8 color printer of the generation without the chips. It is selling
for much less than the original $500 (approx) and is on final closeout.
Also you might look for the ip6000, a six color printer. Also without the
chips. These are both very good printers with easily refilled carts and no
chips.

Bill - I just looked on Amazon - they have an ip6000D (six color) Canon
printer on sale for $99.95. They actually ship from Adorama through Amaon.
I'm sure that these easily refillable printers won't be available for long.

Have had a Canon 6000d for a year, use ink from Alotofthings.com and
Ilford (8x10) paper from Sam's club. $25 + tax for 100 sheets. Get a
lot of compliments on the pictures (mainly 8x10s) About 40 to 50 cents
an 8x10...
