help!!

when trying to back my laptop up using the backup
facility on win xp and using a blank cd all it keeps
telling me is 'the backup file name could not be
used. "e:\jon1.bkf.
Please ensure it is a valid path and you have sufficient
access.

i have administrator access and i'm really stuck, can
anyone help,,, be yor best friend!!

If this backup is a file less than 620MB you have to first
save it to the HDD and then use a disc writing program
like Roxio Easy CD Creator to copy it to a CD-RW. Remember
though neither the backup utility or Easy CD allow disk
spanning(use of multiple discs) so you can't backup
anything over 620MB. To do that you must purchase a backup
program with disk spanning capabilities. good luck
