Backup Utility "no unused Media..."

I have an Certance (Seagate) ATAPI 20 gig tape drive
(travan5) and I can use my "hot-shot" Tapeware software to
backup my PC, but when I try to use the backup utility
that is part of the systems tools of Windows 2000, as I
start a backup I get the message "no unused media
present... blah, blah". Also, under the tools menu, the
media tools button is greyed out. So it seems that the
backup utility cannot see the tape inserted into the
drive. The Tapeware software can see the tape and use it,
but not the backup utility. Has anyone else run into this?

Have you "Prepared" the tapes for NTBackup in the Removable Storage application?
