Auto complete and history

I have web addresses which keep appearing when doing
autocomplete, even when I have carried out all available
removal procedures, like deleting history etc. Any ideas?

Did you try going to Tools > Internet Options, selecting
the "Content" tab, and in the "Personal Information" pane,
clicking "AutoComplete" and unchecking "Web addresses" then
clicking the "Clear Forms" button?

Hi

If the last suggestion doesn't work and the wrong address comes back, it's
cos you have a 'rogue' program (sorry, don't know the usual term in English)
and you'll need sth like Adaware or Spybot to remove it (antispy etc
program).

Agreed, I use Ad-aware 6 Pro and swear by it.
