Attachment failure!

Hi, Outlook fails to send any mail especially those with attchments over
50kb. Very large ones don't seem to go at all but medium ones do get sent but
don't leave the outbox. and get sent multiple times !.....Help appreciated

Disable your AV scanner from scanning incoming/outgoing mail.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, pete asked:
