Outlook 2007 and Attachments Mystery

I have two computers.
Both are with win xp pro (sp2+latest updates)
Both are with office 2007 standard ver (updates are uptodate).
Both PCs are using e-trust anti-virus v8.x
Both PCs are connected to win 2003 Server (not a DC)

pc1 sends e-mail with attachments or forwards e-mail with attachments to
anyone -
The recipient gets the e-mail. Attchment is corrupt. The attchments in PC1
are valid and good working order.

Pc2 does the same - no problem at all. Attachment do not get corrupted.
Any help here is appreciated.
