After installing a Aten USB to Serial device, it shows up
and works fine til the PC is rebooted. Upon rebooting it
then shows under Universal Serial Bus Controllers as
an "Unknown Device". At this point you can unplug the
cable, plug it back in and it reloads back to how it was
before rebooting the PC. I have tried this on multiple
computers running XP and XP SP1. Every one of them does
the exact same thing. Anyone know how to get this to work
correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting Aten? (I don't know if that's possible, but it
is always a good idea to start with a vendor's web site.)
