If the device only shows up when you use this command...

set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

....then it is a phantom device that is not connected to the computer.

I would guess that it comes back again after deletion when you reconnect the
device.

I thought phantom devices show up as greayed out devices and not as a
(yellow) unknown device

A black exclamation point (!) on a yellow field indicates the device is in
a problem state. Note that a device that is in a problem state can be
functioning.
