Archiving Deleted Items

I know, I know ...... "if it was deleted, it's trash" .... at least
that's my opinion.

I have a user who has a unique way of managing his e-mail. When he
has read something in his Inbox, he deletes it, even thought he wants
to keep it for later. Then he Archives the Deleted and Sent items.

The Sent items Archive as they are supposed, but the Deleted do not.
Any ideas? ..... other than trying to force the user to archive
properly?

Did the user actually change the archiving settings on the Deleted Items
folder from the default to do what he wants?

I do not think the defualt settings have been changed, unless to
remove the auto-archive. I will check this.
