Error while archiving folder "Sent Items" in store "xxx"

When trying to Archive just my "Sent Items" I receive the following message:

Error while archiving folder "Sent Items" in store "Rob"

I have run the Inbox Repair on all of my .pst files but the error remains.
There were no errors found in the scan, so does this rule out corrupted .pst
files?

If I attempt to archive everything in store "Rob" it appears to begin
archiving then errors out with these messages:

Error while archiving folder "Jobs" in store "Rob". Some items could not be
copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied.
Error while archiving folder "Passwords" in store "Rob". Some items could
not be copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied.

Error while archiving folder "Purchases" in store "Rob". Some items could
not be copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied.

Error while archiving folder "Maureen" in store "Rob". Some items could not
be copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was denied.

Error while archiving folder "Business Opportunities" in store "Rob". Some
items could not be copied. They were either moved or deleted, or access was
denied.

Error while archiving folder "Sent Items" in store "Rob".

The .pst file I am trying to archive INTO is 214,400 kb, the .pst file I am
trying to archive is 135,097 kb so file size doesn't seem to be an issue.

Any steps I can take?

Scanpst.exe is no bullet proof tool, so no, it does not always find every
occurence of problems with a *.pst file.

To me, it seems like you have some corrupted items in those OL folders, so I
would suggest that you try to copy the content from one folder, into a NEW
folder and see how that goes. If success, then delete the content from the
old folder, and then copy the items back into that folder, and then try
archive it again. You should even recreate those "old" folder before you
copy your items back into that folder, then archive again. Note that it
might be that Outlook won't archive them if the item has a new time stamp
(it's not "old" anymore), since it was "tampered" with, which is actually
normal :)

Optional; you could open your archive.pst file and drag and drop those items
from the folders which causes the problem, into your archive.pst file.... if
you are not getting any errors doing so, due to a corrupted item(s).

If you figure out that there are some items which you can't move due to the
error, then I suggest you consider those items as lost, and try to delete
them, or try some other tool which might help you out, i.e.
www.officerecovery.com or similar site.

Robert
