Another no sound issue

I have a 2005 Vaio xp with media center edition and using the Belkin F5u208
adapter. video is fine and have tried numerous settings including within the
sound controls and with the capture options. Have tried different things that
have been posted and still no luck. Currently trying to configure JVC dv
cameras. gr-d350u and JVC compact vhs camcorder sxm920u

- I had the same problem when creating clips when I installed a Nero
programme which was supposed to be compatible with MM2, The first clip had
sound, all the others-none. Once I had uninstalled it, everything worked
fine.... try something like that.
