Annoying sound when maximizing/ minimizing a window

Everytime I maximize or minimize a window, my computer
plays annoying sounds. I have checked the Sounds and Auto
Devices section in the control panel, and for
maximizing/minimizing windows there is no sound entered.
Please help me because it's driving me crazy!

Perhaps the sounds are assigned to Restore Down and Restore Up? Why not
set *all* system sounds to None and see how that goes? Then add sounds,
one at a time, if you want any.
