Minimizing windows/apps stresses processor

Hi Everyone,

Here's an interesting issue:

No matter how many windows/apps I have open (even only 1), when I minimize
any window core 0 goes to 70-100% and core 2 goes above 50%, which corrupts
sound and makes graphics jumpy. This happens only when minimizing
windows....not maximizing. I confirmed this with the performance tab in task
manager.

Intel tech support has no idea what's going on and referred me here, even
though I told them that the issue is with the processor and not the OS.

Anyone have a possible solution to this annoyance?

I suspect malware, a virus infection or a misbehaving third-party program.
Here are a couple of steps you might take:
- Check in the Task Manager which application consumes so much CPU time.
- See if the problem occurs in Safe Mode too.
