Annoying Folder at Startup

At the startup of my new pc, the same folder window opens each time. I think
it is because I restarted my pc once with the folder still open, and now it
won't close. It's not in the startup folder or the registry (as far as I can
see). I tried ticking and unticking the option which allows you to decide
whether to have folder windows opened at startup which were closed at
shutdown.
I normally wouldn't mind this but the pc isn't even a week old so it's
annoying.
Thanks,
Frank

This certainly sounds like a form of malware. "imgftp.exe" is a Freeware
application that allows you to update your Web site easier, ergo the "ftp".
This may have been installed from a zip file such as imgftp-1.1.04.zip. The
other file name kbmp3.exe also sounds like music application, again "mp3". In
either case, doing a search of your computer and either re-naming these
files/folders or deleting them may help you. You may also have to tear these
applications out of the registry if they continue to replicate. This is not
for the timid and should not be attempted if you are a newbie.

Hello, I am really sorry for this. I was attempting to reply to the post
above yours and I messed up.
Thanx

I searched my pc and neither of these two programs came up. As my pc is new I
have an up-to-date antivirus program which came with it (McAfee Security
Centre) so I thought that any malicious files would be detected anyway.
