folder opens on startup

why does my 'Windows' folder open automatically upon startup? Just started
doing it. (I am a complete novice so if you know the answer, please keep it
simple!)

System32 Folder Opens When Logging on to Windows XP, Windows 2000, or
Windows NT 4.0

Or open a run command and type in:
regedit click [OK] locate this key:
[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run =
"Windows folder which you think is causing the trouble" remove it from the
start up list or if it was My documents or C:\Documents and Settings\User\.."
