All my information has dissapeared

All my outlook data has vaniahed, i've found my pst file, but now i can't
seem to make it so its the default data? my file is called outlook.pst but
for some reason a new file called outlook1.pst has taken over as the default.
I'm not yet using email here but i want to now!
