Default Data File

I upgraded recently to Outlook 2003 in both my PC and laptop. Unfortunately
the Default Data file in my PC is Outlook1.pst whereas in the laptop it is
Outlook.pst. i.e. they have different names.

I use the PC as the master information source but when out and about I use
the info on the laptop. These means that I often copy the Data file from PC
to laptop. This means I have to copy the PC file Outlook1.pst to a My
Documents folder, THEN rename it to Outlook.pst. Finally I copy the renamed
file to the laptop, replacing the existing Outlook.pst file.

Is there any way that I can name my PC default data file to Outlook.pst?
This would simplify things greatly. If there is, what is the procedure?

Thanks in anticipation of receiving helpful replies.

Rename the file on your PC to outlook.pst when Outlook is closed. Start
Outlook and it will nag for the location so you can point it to the renamed
file.
