adminitrator screw up

When we first set up our computer, we did not set up another account other
than administrator. I set that up today, and lost all files by setting up
account and making it administrator. Any way to get this information/files
back? I hate it when I think I have bright ideas. TIA

If all you did was create a new user - look in c:\documents and settings\...
Look under the username that was your old user..
Files there?
