Can't Rename a Folder I renamed once before

I took over my daughter's computer and changed her user account to my name -
"Jorge". It is an Administrator account. There are two other accounts -
guest and asp.net. In "Documents and Settings", there are four folders -
Administrator, All Users, Daddy and Owner. "Daddy" was changed from my
daughter's name. All of user "Jorge" traffic shows up in "Daddy", and under
desktop at "My Documents" and elsewhere in "Jorge's Documents". I am about
to give this computer to another family menber and have been upgrading,
updating and housekeeping it. IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO RENAME "DADDY". Why?
How can I make the change? I do not remember how I did it the first time.

There is two names per account: the user account name and the user's
name. Within the Control Panel --> Users Account will only change
the user's displayed name.

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. The click on "Local
Users and Groups"

The selection "Local Users and Groups" does not appear. In any case, what I
am trying to rename is the documents folder in "Documents and Settings" that
corresponds to the only user of the computer. That user was Jorge and the
corresponding folder was named "Daddy" in order to make it distinctive in the
home network.

You cannot do it in Explorer- it's as simple as that.
You may be able to change the Username using the Administrative tools if
you're using Win XP Pro - otherwise your best option is to create a NEW user
account, transfer the files and settings using FAST, and then delete the old
user account.
