Adding a webpage to a "Favorites" folder in the network

Hello. We have a home network with two computers. How can I set it up so
that when my wife is surfing the net on my computer, she can choose to add a
website to the Favorites folder in her computer? I tried putting a shortcut
(to her "Favorites" folder) inside my Favorites folder, but that only acts
as a shortcut to take you to that network location, rather than acting as a
"normal bookmarks menu" that opens up so you can scroll through it. Also,
when she tries "add to favorites" while surfing the net on my computer, the
shorcut I created for her does not appear in that list of folders.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

She can't. She's using a completely different program (browser) when
she's surfing on your computer. She can export the Favorites and then
import them when she's back at her computer or she can send the link to
herself as an email. Or Google for Favorites/bookmarks sync tools.

If they have a shared folder over the network she could probably simply
place the cursor on the IE icon next to the URL in the address bar,
left-click and hold, then drag it to the shared folder to create a shortcut,
and retrieve it from her PC.

That's what the OP said he had already tried and didn't want it. What he
really wants (or his wife does!) is for any Favorites she adds while
browsing with *his* browser on *his* computer to automagically appear
in *her* browser on *her* computer. I've often wished that could
happen, but even drawing the pentagrams around the computers didn't
help so I guess they'll need to find a bookmark syncing program or
something. ;-)

Use TweakUI to reset the Favorites folder on each machine to a shared
folder. The browsers may not synch in real-time though - just at
instance-loading.
