Everytime I go on to a website that has active x I get a prompt asking me to
allow it. When I click on ok, the whole internet shuts down. Any
suggestions?

You may have your Security Settings too high. If Internet Explorer go
to Tools>Internet Options>Security>Click on
Reset all Zones to Default, Apply, Ok.

What exactly do you mean? Does your Web browser close? Do you lose your
connection to the Internet? Which Web sites has this phenomenon happened
with?

Yes, the web browser closes. It gives me a message that internet explorer
encountered a problem and needs to close. It asks if I want to debug, send
a report, or just close. Either way, the IE shuts down. This is just one of
the many sites that it has happened to: www.thebigpiggig.com. Fantasy
football site had features when people entered in theme music for their teams
and it shut me down every time.

Fantasy football? That site is for a recent BBQ in Menomonee Falls,
Wisconsin.

What happens when you use another Web browser? Same problem? Or is the
issue limited to IE? What does it say in Event Viewer?
