Access Denied??

A friend of mine has just recently connected her pc running windows xp
home edition to the internet thru the service provider wanadoo, using a
dial-up connection.
Her ex (total idiot) used her pc to read his e-mail and now whenever
she tries to connect to the internet she gets an access denied message,
the same thing happens when she tries to send and receive her mail thru
outlook express.
She has tried putting a list of web sites in the content advisor but
still can't view any web page imaginable (even google!).
Niether of us are very good when it comes to computer probs and she's
at a total loss of what to do next. She really needs her internet back
up and running asap for her university work so any possible solutions
will be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your password or account id may have been lost or changed.
Most isp's that I am familiar with have set up the dial up connection to
autologin to the service and I have also found that different ISP's set up
that dial up connection a bit differently from other isp's. I would
recommend calling wanadoo's support phone number and have them walk you
through either checking the current dialup configuration or reinstalling the
dial up connection. They can also reset your password if that is the
problem.

Hope this helps.
