2.1 gig drive.......

i have a 40 and a 2.1 gig drive for my comp. i would like
to know if i can fit XP office and publisher on the 2.1
gig so that i can leave the 40 for storage? is this
possible without causing any system instability?

XP alone is going to take around 2GB. Add 500MB Office and Publisher.

It is in principle just about possible (I have a laptop that was
managing with 2.5 GB) but not advisable. I'd make a 5 GB or so
partition on that 40 GB drive, with the rest as a data partition
