Updater does not detect internet connection???

I just installed MSAS and right after i installed it and
went to run the program it said I needed to update.So I
hit update and a warning sign comes up saying Autoupdater
does not detect an internet connection.Otherwise the rest
of the program functions seem to work.I have a 56k dial-
up connection.Can anyone tell me why it can't detect my
dial-up connection?

Check that Internet Explorer or Outlook Express is working
online, open IE,from the File menu, be sure that "Work
Offline is not checked.
