No Internet connection

Every time I try to update my definitions since yesterday, I get a message
saying 'Warning, could not connect to the Internet'. 'Updates have failed.
AutoUpdater could not detect an Internet Connection'. I am connected to the
Internet and everything is working fine except MSAS. Would appreciate any
help from anyone. Thank you.

I am having exactly the same problem. Please let me know if you are able to
resolve the issue and how. Is it a microsoft server issue ?

Check to make sure programs such as Outlook Express or Internet Explorer is
working online. Click File > and ensure that Work Offline is not checked.

Server Problems.
Wait a day.
Check your definition update. If it's 5783 you're up to date anyway.
