Suddenly, scrolling thru a web page isn't working the way
it used to. Until a few days ago, when I clicked just
above the down-arrow or just below the up-arrow on the
scroll bar, the contents of the page would advance by the
amount of one "screen" of information - that is, it
wouldn't skip over anything. Now, when I do that, the page
advances beyond what is on one screen, so that if I'm not
paying attention, I miss some content that has been
skipped over. The scroll bar seems to be moving faster,
too. Now, if I'm moving through a long page with a lot of
data, I have to use the up- or down- arrow and advance one
line at a time, which is a pain.
I have not changed my software, except for installing a
new version of NAV; IE 6.0 is the same (unless it got
updated automatically - I don't think so; version is 6/0
2800.1106C, with SP1). I am running Windows 2000 Pro.
It seems like this must be something going on in IE,
rather than my mouse? I don't see that there is any way to
change setting for this?
