run command missing

My xp home sp2 is missing the shut down and run command from the start menu,
the shut down disappeared first, then app. 1 mth later the run command went
awol ! I have checked the system for virus & spyware, but , nothing was
found. Also, I went in under the other users name ( sons ) and everything is
fine on his screen so its just on the administrators. Thanks, Todd

You might still be able to access the Run... dialogue by hitting Winkey + R
even if it's missing from the start menu. Not sure what would cause it to
be missing from the start menu without you knowing about it, though...
