How do I rectify a Redemption.dll error upon opening?

Each time I open Outlook I get the following error message:
The add-in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Redemption.dll" could not be installed or
loaded.

Redemption is a developers tool that would be required for certain COM
addins. So you can go to Tools, Options, Other tab, Advanced Options button,
COM Add-Ins dialog to see what addins are installed on a user level. To see
what addins are installed on an administrative level (available for all
users) you'd have to look in the Windows registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins.

Usually most addins have an entry in Add/Remove Programs in the Control
Panel. You can go there, select and addin and usually it will have a repair
function. To get there select the Support link in the text about the addin.
In the support dialog you might find a Repair button. Run all repairs with
no other programs running. If that's not there you might be able to repair
by selecting the Change button, some installations will let you repair from
there.
