The issue of Redemption.dll has been discussed before as well but there was no possible solution posted to it and now I'm facing the problem too.

The problem is about registering ‘Redemption.DLL’ .
For reference about Redemption.dll: http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/

The normal way the DLL register is by:
regsvr32.exe \redemption.dll

The above method works fine on my local machine (test environment) and the DLL is working there.

But when I try the same way of registering the DLL on our server (live environment) it would show me the success message, as it’s supposed to be that the DLL is registered successfully, but even then it doesn’t work.Every time I open Outlook I get the following message:

The add-in "C:\Temp\Redemption.dll" could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu...
I've already tried to do the Detect and Repair but no vain.

I even tried manually adding the DLL to outlook:
Tools->Options->Other->Advanced ->COM add-ins when the Redemption.DLL is selected it says
'C:/(full path)/Redemption.DLL is not a valid Office Addin'

The outlook version I'm using is 2002.

Is there something I am doing wrong here?

Thanks

Just adding to above post:

The only difference which i can see between two systems is:

Test Environment(where the dll is running fine):
Windows XP SP2
Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.2627.3501) SP-1

Live Envirornment(the system where it's giving the trouble):
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1
Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.3513.3501) SP-1
