Hi.

Is there a way to create a shortcut to "Receive fax now" (as shown by the
little yellow telephone over a document in Fax Console) and place it on the
desktop?

a two click implementation would be to right click and drag a shortcut
of FAX to the DT from the printers & fax page in the control panel

click on FAX the on the second icon RECEIVE NOW.
