Auto-Updater not working

Auto updater not working? Found 3 new defs after I had
autoupdater run at noon time. I ran the manual updater
and found 3 updates? Any one else having problems auto
updating?

It don't believe it consistently auto-updates. I believe the setting is
every 4 hours.

I installed ms antispyware last night and today I am
having a very annoying problem with Automatic Updates.
The Automatic Updates window keeps popping up saying it
has a problem and wants to send an error report to
Microsoft. I tried turning off automatic updates from the
Windows Security center, but it did not help, so I
uninstalled the anti-spyware. I'd like to keep Windows
Automatic Updates as well as Anti-Spyware, so I'm
wondering if there are specific settings recommended so
they can coexist.
